Film star Sanjay Dutt interacts with APN staff, seeks wishes for new film, Bhoomi
Film star Sanjay Dutt said he is happy to face camera after a gap of five years. The shooting for his film, Bhoomi, begins on February 15. It is being directed by Omung Kumar.
Speaking to APN team, Dutt said he spent four years in prison and one year after that without a single shot. Last seen in a supporting role in the Aamir Khan starrer PK, he is now also the subject of a biopic, in which Ranbir Kapoor essays his role.
Welcoming him to APN studios, ENC managing director Rajshri Rai said no one in the industry has such a life experience as Dutt. Rai said the film industry is fortunate to have got such a gifted actor.
Rai remembered the moments of joy and pain he and Dutt have shared in the last many years.
Dutt sought everyone’s blessings for his new movie. However, Rai said that with him on the project, the success of the movie is guaranteed.
It’s time for Munnabhai to begin his second innings.
